We are a window and door Manufacturer. We have several CNC saws, mills, welders, pneumatic punches, and pneumatic lift tables. We also have several different types of glass equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance & Repair
· Perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment such as:
o CNC saws and routers
o Vinyl & aluminum extrusion machines
o Glass equipment
o Screen and sash assembly machinery
o Automated welding and corner cleaning machines
o Conveyors, pneumatic tools, and material-handling systems
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
· Repair motors, gearboxes, pumps, sensors, limit switches, valves, and VFDs.
Troubleshooting
· Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals to quickly identify machine failures.
· Diagnose issues related to misalignment, blade wear, cutting accuracy, conveyor performance, and automation faults.
· Respond to urgent breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
· Perform scheduled PMs on cutting tables, welders, glass handling systems, air compressors, and HVAC units.
· Inspect components for wear (bearings, rollers, seals, belts, blades, spindles).
· Maintain lubrication schedules and replace consumables.
Facility & Support Systems
· Maintain building infrastructure:
o Lighting, electrical panels, plumbing, compressed air lines, exhaust/ventilation.
· Monitor and maintain safety systems and environmental compliance.
Documentation
· Log work orders, repairs, and inspections in the CMMS.
· Track recurring equipment issues and recommend improvements.
· Maintain inventory of spare parts and tooling.
Collaboration
· Work closely with production leads, supervisors, and quality teams.
· Communicate equipment status, downtime impacts, and repair plans.
· Support continuous improvement, equipment upgrades, and safety initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
· High school diploma or GED required.
· Technical school or trade certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical fields preferred.
Experience
· 2+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (window/door, woodworking, glass, metal fabrication, or similar preferred).
· Experience with CNC equipment, pneumatic systems, and automated machinery.
Technical Skills
· Mechanical repair and fabrication (basic welding, metalwork preferred).
· Electrical troubleshooting (120V–480V, 3-phase).
· Understanding of PLC-operated equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens helpful).
· Use of diagnostic tools: multimeters, calipers, vibration and alignment tools.
· Ability to read mechanical drawings, wiring schematics, and machine layouts.

· Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift 50–75 lbs.
· Ability to stand, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varied temperatures.
