If you have ever wanted to be able to perform your own repairs on your bike here is your chance to learn from a experienced mechanic in the field. With a small investment in this course/workshop and a few tools, you will be able to perform the bulk of the scheduled (and unscheduled) repairs to your bike or scooter. The workshops are focused to slice up the systems on your bike and to make each element clearly understandable. Even the most tech averse among you will develop an understanding because unlike a book or manual I can answer your questions on the spot. Please contact me for further information as to your specific needs.

I'm conducting a 4 week course that covers the main fundamentals of motorcycle maintenance and repair. Its a front to rear wheel approach where we take a journey through all the systems that comprise a motorcycle. It is a hands-on-course and not just theory . Theory will be thoroughly discussed and broken down in layman terms so that everyone will understand but the class has hands on labs as well. The class will be limited to 12 people due facility limitations and to allow for more one-to-one interaction. We will be working from course notes (provided), lectures and lab. One of the most important things that you'll learn is how to analyze faults and how to approach the problem.

You will be learning from a mechanic and teacher that has been servicing bikes and watercraft for the past 20 years. All the material you will learn from the class has been carefully broken down so even the most tech challenged can understand easily. There will be a combination of hands on training, class demonstrations of service procedures, diagnostics with videos I have been teaching this class for the past 5 years and have had 100's of students take the workshop with excellent results. After and during the class I am available for consultations with whatever problem you may have.

Topics covered: Engines, Fuel systems, carburetors and fuel injection. Electrical systems, brakes, cooling systems preventative maintenance. Safety check of bikes at the end of the class.

4 workshops every Sunday from 1-6pm. Missed classes can be made up in subsequent workshops that will be offered. Next workshop June 2nd. Workshop cost is $385 for all 4 workshops.

I also worked for a time as a movie prop fabricator working in metal, plastic and wood fabrication in the machine shop. We currently have a small fab shop (now known as a makerspace ) in our facility and in the future may offer classes on custom building and restoration.

Your training can be applied to any bike you might ride now or in the future. That includes but not limited to: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki,Triumph, Vespa. Yamaha and even Chinese scooters.
