I am an accomplished woodworker having trained for over 15 years in the Traditional English style of woodworking with hand tools. No loud, dusty machines here. We are talking the fine-toothed dovetail saw, bevel-edged chisels, vintage hand planes, spokeshaves and more, used to produce handcut joinery like Dovetails or Mortise and Tenon joints for fine woodworking boxes or cabinets, and for heirloom quality, bespoke fine furniture construction.
I am offering lessons in the art of fine woodworking craftsmanship. I can come to youw ithin a reasonable distance from Irvine. I am also available for youth or group lessons.
I am also a working craftsman, so if you have an idea for a commission and want to discuss making a custom project, just reach out! Although I do have a wait list.
Woodworking with handtools really is a wonderful way to unwind and it is a skill that is becoming lost to time. Lets keep it alive and pass it down. If you got this far you are probably interested in learning more, so drop me a message.
