Background:
I started tutoring in high school, and now I am a mechanical engineering graduate with 10+ years experience tutoring a wide variety of subjects for K-12, college, and graduate students. I completed most of the pre-med track in college in addition to my mechanical engineering program, so I offer tutoring in a breadth of courses. I understand that each student learns differently, and by catering to their individual needs, they learn far more effectively with me than they can in a classroom environment. I strive to do whatever I can to help my students, and I am dedicated to seeing them succeed. I have seen the grades of many students I tutored go from a D to an A. I have experience working with students in a wide variety of grade levels including graduate students from universities like UC Irvine, University of Southern California , and MIT (references available upon request).
My rate is $60/hour for all students.
I am here to help you succeed when it comes to understanding course material, test prep, research, professional development, or simply learning a new subject for personal enrichment.

Note About Online Tutoring:
I have been tutoring online and in-person years before COVID, and continue to provide effective online tutoring now. Virtual learning is relatively new for many students and parents; I show my students how to use online tools to their benefit. We can use the online platforms I find useful, or whatever you're the most comfortable with. I use a tablet to write on-screen and leverage online materials to make the learning experience as effective online as in-person.
Meeting in-Person
If you have something like a hands-on project that you'd prefer to work on in-person, we can discuss meeting at your house if it's near Newport/Huntington Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, Tustin, or Orange. I'm also happy to meet somewhere like a cafe in those cities if you generally learn better in-person. I am willing to drive to further cities to meet in-person for an additional flat rate depending on distance.
