We are a real estate/business law firm and real estate brokerage company located in Santa Ana. Our real estate services include landlord/tenant, easement, title, encroachments, contract preparation, deeds, buying and selling transactions just to name a few. Our founding attorney has been practicing real estate and business law since 1980.
WHO WE NEED
We are looking for a legal assistant with a minimum of two years experience looking to grow with our company. Someone with strong work ethics who is hard working, detailed oriented and who can perform their duties with little management and supervision.
Manage calendar, documents and organize case files;
Proofread letters and legal documents for correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, syntax and content and revise them accordingly;
Review documents to ensure they are in proper format and contain all necessary references, exhibits and appendices;
Compose and mail/distribute routine letters, emails and memoranda in accordance with company policies and guidelines;
Prepare / revise documents from verbal or written instructions, notes, rough drafts or other materials;
Assemble and gather exhibits, trial binders, case law binders, and examine witness prep binders;
Utilize case management software, databases and internet sites as needed;
Assist with day-to-day activities and perform other relevant duties as assigned.
