We are a fast-growing applicant-side Workers’ Compensation law firm dedicated to protecting injured workers’ rights. Our team is expanding, and we are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Case Manager who can handle a busy caseload with professionalism, urgency, and compassion.
🔥 Position Overview
The Case Manager will support attorneys by managing all aspects of workers’ compensation claims from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate has experience in applicant-side WC, understands medical terminology, handles high call volume, and communicates clearly with clients, doctors, adjusters, and the WCAB.
✨ Key Responsibilities
Manage a large caseload and maintain organized digital files
Request and review medical records, PQME/QME reports, WCAB filings
Schedule medical appointments, depositions, and hearings
Communicate with clients regularly regarding case status
Prepare DORs, subpoenas, cover letters, record summaries, and case updates
Follow up with adjusters and defense attorneys for benefits, authorizations, and payments
Assist attorneys with settlement preparation and file closure
Maintain detailed notes in case management software
đź“Ś Required Qualifications
Workers’ Compensation experience preferred
Strong understanding of:
TTD, PD, MMI, QME/PQME process
EAMS filing system (preferred)
Medical terminology
Excellent communication skills (phone, email, in-person)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, organized, and self-motivated
Bilingual English/Spanish is a major plus
