We are a Newport Beach estate planning law firm located in Fashion Island. Our estate planning services include general estate planning, asset protection, elder law, special needs/conservatorships, trust administration, probate, and some business planning. We do not provide litigation services.

WHO WE NEED TO JOIN OUR TEAM
We need a warm, personable, compassionate, smart, detail-oriented estate planning paralegal who will be an integral part of our leadership team. This person will primarily work closely with our two founding partners, our Chief Operating Officer, and our Office Manager, to provide high level legal support and ensure a great client experience. This person will be deeply rooted in the firm's success and completely trustworthy. They will have the full support of our team but will perform their duties with little management because they have great character and work ethic. They will feel invested and take pride in seeing our firm continue to grow and succeed. This person will be enjoyable to work with.
This person must already be a reputable and experienced estate planning paralegal who can perform the job duties below.
Draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and all ancillary documents. We use Wealthdocx and Elderdocx
Manage and perform full trust administration process, including building out a systematized process and checklist. (Most important initial job duty).
Manage and perform full probate process.
Manage and draft documents for our conservatorship process and draft third party special needs trusts. (We don't currently offer first party SNT services but may if we have the right paralegal to oversee that process.)
Create funding instructions from design sheet for signing meetings
Proof spellings/details on all docs before printing for signings
Scan executed deeds/create cover letter and supporting docs - submit to county
Assist in correcting errors/corrections/changes from signing meetings on legal docs
Misc. creation of cover letters as needed
Funding: collection and completion of forms for client funding (when retained to do so)
Submitting completed funding forms and accompanying docs to financial institutions
Field client phone calls for attorneys/respond to client emails on behalf of attorneys.
Perform 3 year reviews, including identifying and contacting past clients due for reviews; prepare client review packages.
60 day /120 day funding letters to clients: including review of assets still needing to be funded
Back up on phones/scheduling appointments if office manager is unavailable

We are flexible. While this position primarily requires you to work from the office, we can come up with a great flex time arrangement if necessary if you need to work from home at times.
We can't promise anything, but our firm has been known to enjoy some fun company spa days, golfing, breakfasts, fancy dinners, sporting event suites, and even Vegas!
