Licensed General Contractor is looking for a highly skilled and experienced masonry subcontractor for a large retaining wall project in Orange County. This is a major HOA project for one of our long term commercial clients. This is not a handyman job or a side job. We are looking for an established subcontractor with a proven track record of successfully completing large retaining wall projects.
The project consists of more than 300 linear feet of approximately 6 foot high reinforced CMU retaining wall. The scope includes temporary shoring, demolition of the existing retaining wall, excavation, reinforced concrete footings, reinforced CMU wall construction, waterproofing, drainage system, backfill and compaction, restoration work, cleanup, and completion in accordance with the engineered plans.
You must have experience with projects of this size and complexity. Please be prepared to provide references, photos of similar projects, proof of insurance, and your California contractor’s license. Reliability, communication, and professionalism are extremely important.
We are looking for a subcontractor interested in building a long term working relationship. We have additional commercial projects for the right company.
Payment terms are straightforward. We do not pay deposits or advances. Payments will be made as work is completed, with a 20 percent retention held until the project is fully completed and accepted. If you are not comfortable with these payment terms, this project is probably not the right fit.
