HELP WANTED: Move & Assemble Gym Equipment (3+ People Needed / Bring Tools & Floor Protection)
Looking for: A team of at least 3 capable people with tools, dollies, and floor protection to move commercial gym equipment from my garage into my ground-floor house, and handle some light reassembly.
Timeline & Budget
When: As soon as possible.
Estimated Time: 2 to 3 hours.
Budget: Please reply with your quote/rates for the job. Looking for quality work that is economically viable.
The Job Details
Move Assembled Commercial Pieces:
About 5 commercial machines (including dual selectorized machines) currently in the garage.
They have integrated weight stacks, so they are heavy.
Note: You may need to use a socket wrench/tools to briefly detach side legs or separate a bench from a weight stack just to fit them through the door, and then reattach them inside.
Move Cardio Equipment:
A few cardio pieces need to be rolled into the main area. They aren't necessarily technical, just big, heavy, and clumsy.
Assemble a Multi-Unit:
I have a multi-three unit where some pieces were disassembled for transport. These need to be bolted back together and fully assembled inside.
Job Requirements (What You Must Bring)
Experience: Prior experience moving/handling gym equipment is a huge plus, but the absolute main requirement is utmost care for the equipment and the home.
Manpower: Minimum of 3 people required to safely maneuver these pieces.
Floor Protection (Crucial): The indoor destination has hardwood floors. You must bring floor runners, moving blankets, or thick cardboard to ensure absolutely zero scrapes or damage to the floors.
Equipment: Heavy-duty dollies (preferably with big rubber wheels) and a standard toolset (socket wrenches, Allen keys, etc.) to handle the minor disassembly/assembly.
