I’m looking for a reliable, neutral third party to assist with a scheduled move-out from a shared residence in Irvine. This is not a security or enforcement role — it’s a coordination and communication role.
Responsibilities:
• Be present onsite during the move.
• Coordinate directly with my ex ensure movers can enter and work without interruption.
• Communicate basic logistics to him if needed (e.g., “Movers will be taking these items,” “We need access to X room,” etc.).
• Maintain a calm, neutral presence and help keep the process orderly.
• Follow my instructions precisely and avoid escalating or engaging beyond logistics.
• Optional: simple photo/video documentation of condition or items if requested.
YOU MUST BE OK WITH AN OFFICER JOINING FOR A CIVIL STANDBY in the beginning. Professional movers will come and do all the work. Your job is to accompany me and speak to my ex only about logistics on my behalf.
Requirements:
• Strong communication skills; able to stay calm and neutral under pressure.
• Experience with moves, logistics, caregiving, mediation, house management, or similar useful backgrounds preferred.
• Must be dependable and punctual.
• Must be willing to sign a brief confidentiality agreement.
• Provide your name, relevant experience, and a phone number.
Compensation:
$XX/hour (firm).
Paid at the end of the assignment.
