>> Winston slipped out the front door of our home when my roommate stepped out late Wednesday night. It was dark and our front lights had burned out a few days prior. My roommate is also blind in one eye so she didn't see him. I noticed he didn't come for breakfast in the morning but didn't think much of it as he sometimes doesn't come. We got worried when my roommate got up a couple of hours later and he didn't come behind her.
>> We found Winston after following a lot of the advice we got, such as looking for him at night. Our neighbors also advised us to follow the neighborhood stray, Frankie, as he is very friendly and often finds and brings home lost cats in the area. He was found under our neighbor's porch and Frankie was also in the yard. Winston got frightened and ran when we tried to lure him out. My roommate followed Frankie and he led her to the bush he crawled under.
You guys did an amazing job of posting him right away! He got a lot of shares and a lot of hopeful wishes. Had he actually strayed far from home, all those things make me hopeful that we would have found him either way.
