Our beloved pet mourning dove is still missing after escaping yesterday from the Sonesta Suites Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley area. We are visiting from Las Vegas and are absolutely heartbroken.

🕊 She is a small tan/light brown mourning dove with soft beige coloring, darker wing markings, large dark eyes, and a slender dark beak. She is very tame and used to being around people, but is likely frightened, exhausted, and hiding quietly nearby.

She may be perched silently in:
• Trees
• Rooftops
• Balconies
• Parking structures
• Building ledges
• Bushes or shaded areas
