2010 was the 50th Anniversary of the Rolex DEEPSEA Challenge dive. In that January, at an exclusive Rolex party in Orange County, California, former Navy Lt. Don Walsh attended the commemoration party where he shared his stories and experiences of the historic dive made by the Bathescape Trieste that he piloted. That dive tested the extreme durability of the now famous Rolex timepiece that was strapped to the hull of the craft and helped launch the successful Submariner line of Rolex watches.

Up for sale is a piece of memorabilia from that 50th anniversary party:
