Nova Diagnostics Labs LLC is seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support and enhance our HR operations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining a positive workplace culture while ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple HR functions in a fast-paced environment.
The Human Resources Coordinator will support talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
-Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, and assisting hiring managers with candidate selection.
-Facilitate background checks, employment verifications, and reference checks.
-Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding, including orientation sessions, policy review, and training scheduling.
-Ensure all new hire documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Employee Records & HR Administration:
-Maintain and update employee personnel files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
-Process employment status changes, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and pay adjustments.
-Prepare HR-related reports for management, payroll, and compliance audits.
Benefits Administration:
-Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave programs.
-Assist with employee benefits inquiries and assist with enrollment, changes, and claims.
-Coordinate workers’ compensation claims and ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
-Support annual open enrollment processes.
Performance Management & Employee Relations
-Assist in coordinating performance evaluations and tracking review deadlines.
-Support the development and implementation of employee development plans.
-Provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
-Assist in resolving employee concerns by supporting investigations and maintaining proper documentation.
-Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Compliance & Policy Management:
-Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment and labor laws.
-Support audits and maintain required labor law postings and documentation.
-Assist with policy updates and communicate changes effectively to employees.
-Support affirmative action planning and workforce planning initiatives.
Organizational Development & Strategic Support:
-Assist with training and development initiatives.
-Support succession planning and workforce strategy efforts.
-Participate in HR projects aimed at improving employee engagement and operational efficiency.
-Contribute to change management initiatives by supporting communication and implementation strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
-2+ years of experience in Human Resources coordination.
-Strong knowledge of employment and labor law regulations.
-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
-Experience with training and development, affirmative action planning, succession planning, and organizational development is highly desirable.
