This Artist Quality Canvas is protected against acidic deterioration.
The raw fabric has been treated to remove excess textile sizings and other impurities prior to being processed for application of the ground.
A buffered sizing of neutral or slightly alkaline pH protects the canvas fibers from direct contact with final priming.
The canvas is suitable for permanent paintings in acrylics and oils.
This painting, including other pieces probably by this same artist, were given to me by the family of my dad's late friend. I know nothing more about them other than they were never displayed. Some edges may be bent due to storage.
