I am looking for a studio or one-bedroom apartment in North Orange County for myself, my 5-year-old son, and possibly my boyfriend of 13 years (my son’s father). We currently live in San Jacinto, CA, but I was born and raised in North Orange County and am hoping to return.
We have had a very difficult year. In 2025, my mother passed away from cancer. I had to stop working and use our savings to care for her while she was on hospice. During that time, I fell behind on bills and am now in the process of filing for bankruptcy. Toward the end of 2025, my father was also diagnosed with cancer and has been in and out of the hospital for months.
My boyfriend has ongoing health issues that have prevented him from working, and he is not currently on disability. I work full time as a gig worker using multiple apps, primarily Amazon and Walmart, and I work almost every day. I do have steady income, but I can no longer afford our mortgage and living expenses, so we are in the process of selling our home.
I am hoping to move back to North Orange County to start over, be closer to my family and my father, and have access to more job and school opportunities. There are limited resources where we currently live. We need to relocate within the next two months.
We do not smoke, drink, or use drugs. We are a quiet, drama-free family that has had a very rough year and is simply looking for a chance to rebuild
