This is a consistent Monday–Wednesday schedule from 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM caring for a client in the early stages of dementia who is bed bound and requires hands-on support, companionship, and strong caregiving presence.
Due to the location, applicants must have a highly reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and feel comfortable driving in a more rural/canyon area.
Client Care Needs
• Mobility assistance and repositioning
• Incontinence care
• Assistance with activities of daily living
• Transportation and support for doctor appointments
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Dementia support and redirection
• Companionship, engagement, and emotional support
The ideal caregiver is patient, confident, dependable, attentive, and able to work well with strong personalities while maintaining compassion and professionalism.
Qualifications
• Minimum 6 months caregiving experience preferred
• Experience working with dementia and mobility limitations strongly preferred
• CNA or HHA encouraged to apply
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance required
• Must have a dependable vehicle suitable for regular travel to Silverado Canyon
• Basic English communication skills required
• Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply
• Current TB test required
• Must pass state and federal Live Scan background check
• Registered Home Care Aide (HCA) preferred — if not currently registered, we can help guide you through the process
