Established Social Security Disability advocacy office in Placentia is seeking a highly organized and compassionate Intake & Case Support Assistant to join our team.
Our office helps individuals who are unable to work due to serious medical conditions obtain Social Security Disability benefits. This position plays an important role as the first point of contact for many clients.
This role is a combination of client intake and case support.
Responsibilities include:
• Answering incoming calls from potential clients
• Conducting basic intake interviews and gathering information
• Scheduling consultations
• Sending and receiving client paperwork
• Requesting and tracking medical records
• Organizing and uploading documents into our case management system
• Communicating with clients regarding case status
• Assisting with general office support
Qualifications:
• Strong phone and communication skills
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Professional, calm, and compassionate demeanor
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Reliable and punctual
• Experience in a medical office, legal office, or administrative role is helpful but not required (training will be provided)
This is a full-time, in-office position in Placentia.
