We are seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to join our team. This position begins as a temporary role with the opportunity to transition into a permanent, full-time position based on performance and facility needs. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to residents in a supportive, residential environment.
Hours
7 AM to 7 PM or Live-In
Key Responsibilities
Daily Care: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Medication Management: Assist with and document the self-administration of medications in strict accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
Meal Preparation: Cook and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals; accommodate specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for residents, including light cleaning and laundry.
Companion Care: Provide emotional support and engage residents in social activities or exercises to promote well-being.
Requirements
Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fluent in both Spanish and English.
Background Check: A current LiveScan clearance is mandatory prior to start.
Experience: Previous experience in caregiving or a residential care setting is required.
Reliability: Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and resident safety.
Communication: Ability to follow detailed care plans and document resident updates accurately.
