Physical Therapy Aide/Front Office Coordinator
We are a well-established privately-owned physical therapy practice in Laguna Beach specializing in orthopedics and sports rehabilitation as well as Pilates training. We are looking for a physical therapy aide and front office coordinator to join our dynamic and energetic practice. Our clientele is a mix of orthopedic patients including post-surgical cases and sports injuries. We work with a variety of athletes including runners, golfers, mountain bikers, surfers, skiers, collegiate, high school, and junior athletes competing in volleyball, basketball, baseball, water polo, and more…
We desire team members who are motivated, highly organized, reliable, flexible, and able to multi-task with excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications:
• A background in the medical field or fitness industry.
• Experience or coursework in the following areas: exercise physiology, anatomy, physiology and/or kinesiology.
• Prior aide/training experience is preferred but not required.
• Technically sound with computers and willing to learn new programs
• Self-motivated, organized
Job Descriptions:
Front Office Duties/PT Aide duties
• Answer phones, schedule patients, filing, verifying insurance benefits
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles
• Work directly with Physical Therapists and Assistants on all clients/patients
• Assists in guiding patients/clients through exercise and training progressions
• Administer appropriate modalities as directed by the physical therapist
• Maintain an efficient, safe, and clean work environment, laundry, general cleaning
• Other duties as assigned

Competitive hourly rates based on experience for both the front office and the aide position. ($17-$20/hr)
