Hygiene is hard work. Dealing with complaining, entitled, ungrateful patients. Crazy schedules and not enough time to help patients. Unsupportive staff. Carpal tunnel syndrome. Having to “sell” treatment that you don’t feel is ethical. Sure the “Tinder-style” (temp-rate) of a zillion $/hr sounds great… but people are going to make you pay that back by packing you full of 30 min SRP’s… and it’ll be about three days until you hate waking up in the morning to go to work. Was this what you signed up for before getting into hygiene school?
What if you can have a nice, ethical setting to do the work you were meant to do while being properly compensated fairly to do it?
And Doctors: Don’t be desperate to hire unqualified people… they will ruin your practice by driving away those hard-earned referrals and patients!
Come by and do an interview. If you have what it takes, we’ll teach you the things school never did! Some people are meant for greatness in hygiene, others are meant for greatness in something else.
