KEI APPLE FRUIT TREE, IS a African fruit tree. It does not look like a apple, just a African name for the fruit tree. Dovyalis afra, commonly known as the Kei apple, is a small to medium-sized tree, native to southern Africa. It comes with thorns which makes this good tree to grow where you might have fence hopper invading your yard.
