Giant Bird of Paradise (botanical name: Strelitzia nicolai) make beautiful indoor or outdoor plants for a very tropical look. These particular plants are acclimated for indoors as house plants and are very healthy, clean and free of any and all parasites. These plants however can very quickly acclimate for the outdoors and do very well in direct or indirect sunlight. When planted outdoors the plants will bloom a white flower similar in shape and appearance to the smaller orange flower that the smaller regular variety bird of paradise (Strelitzia reginae) bloom.
