For sale by original owner: Henredon Historic Natchez Collection dining table with two matching leaves and ten chairs (two arm chairs and eight side chairs), all of which were delivered direct to me from the Henredon manufacturing facility in High Point, North Carolina. They were ordered and paid for at the former Henredon/Ralph Lauren Home Furnishings and Interior Design Store in Irvine, California on January 2, 2004. Their original price was $19,489.00 (excluding sales tax and delivery charges). They were never displayed as floor samples.
This fine collection of hand crafted, heirloom quality furniture has been gently used and well cared for by my wife and me in a smoke free and pet free home. For most of its life it was positioned in the formal dining room of our air conditioned private residence in Irvine, California, where it was used very lightly (only two or three times per year on special occasions). When we sold our home in 2012, the dining table and chairs were professionally stored in a private, climate controlled warehouse until we moved them to our current apartment home in Irvine, where, due to the lack of an appropriately sized dining area, and our planned move to an even smaller apartment in the near future, we have reluctantly decided to sell them.
Items included in this sale:
1. One Henredon Historic Natchez Collection DINING TABLE (MPN 6451-20) with two matching LEAVES. The table is best described as rectangular in shape with rounded corners. Width: 86", 130" with leaves inserted. Depth: 52". Height: 30". The table is in EXCELLENT condition.
2. Two Henredon Historic Natchez Collection ARM CHAIRS (MPN 6451-27). Width: 24.5". Depth: 27.5". Height: 41.5". Seat height: 18.5". Both of the arm chairs are in very good condition, with only very minor distress marks, if any.
3. Eight Henredon Historic Natchez Collection SIDE CHAIRS (MPN 6451-28). Width: 21.5". Depth: 26.5". Height: 41.5". Seat height: 18.5". All of the side chairs are in very good condition, with only very minor distress marks, if any.
4. All ten of the CHAIRS are upholstered in Scotchgard treated Henredon fabric No. 35-5557, Color 221, Grade I. None of the chairs' fabrics are stained, noticeably worn or dirty.
5. A full set of four, folding and interlocking, McKay DINING TABLE PADS that precisely fit the entire table top (with or without the leaves installed). These pads are a full 1/2 inch thick and provide 550 degrees of heat protection. The pads have mahogany woodgrain waterproof vinyl tops and soft, dark brown, Dura-Velvet base-bottoms. They are all in very good condition.
6. Three McKay Dining Table Leaf Storage Bags made from high-grade virgin vinyl exteriors and fully-lined soft white fleece interiors. These bags each have a Velcro flap closure. There are three bags so that each table leaf has its own bag, with a separate bag to hold and protect the dining table pads when they're not being used. The bags are all in very good condition.
The pictures included in this listing were taken using a Samsung Galaxy S21+ smartphone camera using a combination of natural and artificial light (a flash was not used). The chairs used in the photos were randomly chosen. As noted above, all of the chairs (including the upholstered sections of each chair) are in very good condition. The last picture in the sequence shows the seating area of one of the side chairs, with an upholstery fabric sample laid on top of it. The subject sample was the one originally used to select the upholstery fabric for all of the chairs. This sample has been stored in a folder in a file cabinet since 2004, and has not been exposed to sunlight. Please notice that there has been very little if any fading of the fabric on the upholstered chair, and this is true of all of the chairs. I have 250 more high resolution photos of the dining table and chairs that I can make available for download from the internet upon request.
The items in the sale are available for pickup from my home in Irvine, California. I will cooperate with buyer's professional (licensed and insured) furniture mover as necessary to effect a smooth relocation of the items from my apartment home to the mover's truck.
I have been a reputable seller of high value collectibles since 1998, including rare musical instruments and original fine art, the sale prices of many of which significantly eclipsed my requested price for this Henredon collection. I have always maintained a 100% positive feedback rating from buyers.
Due to the excellent condition and heirloom quality of this Henredon Historic Natchez Collection dining table and chairs, my reduced price is firm.
