A rare and beautiful antique Japanese wooden hibachi table with copper-lined fire pit, four drawers and a special utensil compartment has been converted to a unique coffee table by adding a 3 x 4 foot 3/4 inch thick glass top with beveled edges. Beautiful, sturdy, and functional. Hibachi is more than 100 years old. We bought it when we lived in Japan in the late 60's and had the top specially made when we returned to the US and were furnishing our house.
