Vintage H Riehl & Son Wood Textile Battens Shuttles for Looms 280B R352
Interesting industrial Relic from the American Textile Industry. Dates from the early 20th Century. Handcrafted from hard wood, most likely maple. These and the looms that they were used with were made by the Henry Riehl & Son company in Philadelphia, PA. They have a groove pattern on the front for a gear to move them, and would hold a spool of thread on the removable metal pin.
