Statue carved from a single piece of solid mahogany in Jamaica around 1978 or 1979. I purchased this piece in Ocho Rios, Jamaica and have kept it on my shelf ever since. Statue is of a farmer smoking a pipe and holding a sickle. Carving has one small flaw and is rather hard to see.
* Entire carving measures: 22” tall with a base of 5” x 4”.
** Statue stands upright straight and stable!
