This is circa early '60's Zero model 1265R single speed oscillating fan with 10-inch metal blades. This fan was built by McGraw-Edison, Bersted Manufacturing Division and, is what one might consider a cheap fan back in the '60's. These fans were sold under the Eskimo and Zero brands, as well as many store brands and, kept the same basic design from the '50's until the early '70's.
The oscillator mechanism is non-functional so it is basically a stationary fan.
Originally, these fans had no power switch but at some point in it's life, someone added an inline switch to the AC cord.
This fan is in the original robin's egg blue color with it's original patina.
