Hi, today I am selling my entire homebrewing operation. There is a photo with the itemized list of stuff but I will describe the setup here.
First off is the BrewZilla 3.1.1 electric kettle. This can do the following while holding up to 8 gallons:
1. Heat water for mash and boil (can even start boiling the flow-thru during sparging)
2. There is a grain insert with false bottom to do the mash in.
3. There is a pump built in that can recirculate wort for sparging and clarification
4. The grain insert moves up after mash and attaches to the top of the boiler so you can sparge directly into there. I just use my extra kettle to heat up sparge water in the kitchen and batch sparge on top, which has worked well for me.
Next is the FermZilla pressurizable fermenter. I keep this in the chest freezer with thermostat during brewing- it can maintain any termperature you want from low 30s for lagering up to whatever fermenting temperatures you want (it does not heat, only cools if needed). This unit has the following:
1. Can hold up to 7 gallons with reasonable headspace
2. Can ferment under pressure with the included spunding valve to maintain moderate pressure (makes fermenting much faster in some cases)
3. It holds pressure so you save money on CO2 if you're kegging
4. Use DuoTight fittings (included) to connect to kegs to transfer under pressure or you can even attach CO2 directly to the fermenter and use a plastic faucet (included) to serve beer directly from the fermenter! Very handy for the eager brewers who like to sample a bit early without messing anything up :)
Then there is the kegerator with 3 kegs and 3 faucets with included CO2 tank. It's a pretty standard refrigerator conversion.
My ideal case would be to sell the whole lot to someone who maybe dabbled in brewing before and wants to up their game a bit. It's been a great setup and I made 16 batches in the last 2 years. I am just trying to become sober now so I am selling it, otherwise it is still great!
