We are a busy corporate catering and meal prep kitchen looking for a dependable, hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team. This is a fast-paced environment where every team member plays an important role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service.
Responsibilities Include:
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen throughout the day
- Assist with catering food preparation and packaging
- Assist with pastry and dessert preparation
- Prepare ingredients for chefs (washing, chopping, portioning, etc.)
- Stock and organize kitchen supplies
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with other kitchen duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous kitchen, dishwashing, or food service experience is preferred
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a commercial kitchen environment
- Must be able to follow recipes and instructions accurately
Requirements:
- Must be available to work **Saturday through Wednesday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM**
- Must have reliable transportation and arrive on time
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must maintain a professional appearance and practice good personal hygiene
