We are seeking a SOUS CHEF who will be able to run our State-of-the-Art kitchen in the absence of the executive chef and sous chef. This person will lead by example and provide professional leadership, direction and training to the staff.
The successful candidate will work alongside the management team to manage daily kitchen activities, aiding with menu preparation, ensuring food quality/freshness and monitoring purchasing/stocking. They will keep cook stations stocked and manage on-the-fly requests with ease and poise, especially before and during prime operation hours.
Formal culinary training
Strong organizational skills
Perform under pressure calmly and effectively
Previous high volume food service experience
Ensure adherence to recipes, safety practices and sanitation standards
