About us:
Wild Strawberry Cafe is a small, busy, and much-loved cafe in Laguna Beach. We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Prep Cook / Dishwasher to join our team on weekends. In our kitchen, we work as a team—everyone does a bit of everything, from prepping and cooking to washing dishes and cleaning up. If you're someone who takes pride in working hard and supporting your crew, we want to hear from you.
Schedule (Please Read Carefully):
- Required Availability: Both Saturday & Sunday
- Shift Time: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- (We close at 4:00 PM, but shifts include cleanup and prep until 5:30 PM)
- If you are not available for both full weekend days, please do not apply
What You’ll Do:
- Prep fresh ingredients for service
- Cook and assemble breakfast items, sandwiches, and other menu favorites
- Wash dishes and keep the kitchen clean and organized
- Support team members across all kitchen tasks
- Help close the kitchen and prep for the next day
Who You Are:
- Willing to do it all—prep, cook, clean, and support the team wherever needed
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
- Fast and focused, especially during busy rushes
- A positive team player who takes direction well
- Kitchen experience is great, but not required—we’re happy to train someone motivated and ready to learn
