Barista Wanted for Coffee Trailer at Muscle Recovery Studio!

Position: Barista
Location: shape-shop Inc. Costa Mesa
Hours: Part-time, 7:00am-1:00pm
Compensation: $18/Hour - $20/Hour (DOE) + Tips
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages.
• Engage with clients, ensuring they feel welcomed and cared for.
• Provide recommendations for beverages that complement clients' muscle recovery or wellness goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee trailer and surrounding areas.
• Handle payments accurately, including processing orders via a POS system.
• Collaborate with the studio team to create a seamless customer experience.
• Ensure inventory is stocked.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times, especially in food and beverage preparation.
• Generate revenue by attracting new customers, defining new and expanded services and products
• Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventative maintenance.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading coffee, retail trade and food service publications.
Requirements:
• 18 Years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Food Handler card
• Previous barista experience is required.
• A passion for coffee and an interest in health and wellness.
• Exceptional customer service skills and a positive, professional attitude.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Must be available for flexible hours, including weekends.
• Ability to lift and carry supplies, stand for long periods, and work in various temperatures outdoor.
Job Experience:
• 2 years of customer service experience
• Prior café or coffee shop experience
• Excellent communication and critical thinking
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale software
