With a commitment to providing unparalleled hospitality, we are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to join our team and expand our presence in the Leisure, SMERF (Social, Military, Educational, Religious, and Fraternal), and FIT (Free Independent Traveler) markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive business in the Leisure, SMERF, and FIT market segments.
Identify, target, and nurture new business opportunities through direct outreach, networking, and partnerships.
Cultivate strong relationships with key accounts, travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate partners.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to tailor promotions, packages, and services that appeal to leisure travelers.
Drive revenue growth by ensuring high conversion rates and maximizing room bookings, group sales, and special event hosting.
Conduct competitor analysis and market research to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge.
Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to promote the brand and expand market reach.
Prepare and present detailed sales reports, forecasts, and business plans to senior leadership.
Manage and maintain a customer database to track leads, prospects, and sales performance.
Qualifications:
5+ years of proven experience in hotel sales, with a strong emphasis on the Leisure, SMERF, and FIT markets.
In-depth knowledge of the hotel industry and trends specific to the leisure and group travel sectors.
Strong relationships with local and international travel agents, tour operators, and corporate clients.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in creating and managing successful sales campaigns and promotions.
Proficient in sales software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to travel for client meetings, industry events, and site inspections.
