Notes:
This is a set of very Rare B.I.C. Soundspan TPR-400 in excellent vintage condition.
A pair of speakers made by British Industries Corporation. In the USA
These speakers are true classics.

Measurements: Height: 38 1/4" Width" 13" Depth: 13" Weight 52 lbs each Total weight both 104 lbs.

The cabinet is finished on all four side in Walnut.

This System offers the dramatic difference of Soundspan, Featuring a bottom facing Bass speaker, which serves to increase bass response by using the entire room as a reflecting surface.

The Mid and Hi range speakers face upward, and radiate sound 360 degrees for optimal listening wherever the speakers are placed in any shape room.

The woofers are mounted inverted with the magnets outside.

The mid-range and tweeter are stacked above the woofer in separate modules with diffusers.

BIC holds a patent on this driver design: "United States Patent 4850452 One or more up-firing woofer loudspeakers are mounted atop a truncated pyramidal enclosure.
A down-firing tweeter is aligned above the woofer.
TPR-400 (8"Woofer design) 1979-1984, 3-way Omni-directional design as described above.
