Rare Electric Light Orchestra On The Third Day 1st Pressing 1973 United Artists
*Remember all my albums are the original first edition and not the re-releases done in the last few years or so when you see them as new look at the release date and you'll see it's decades after the first release the ones that I have.
I bought this brand new over 50 years ago I only played this one probably once or twice and although I don't know how to grade the records it looks pretty perfect, if not virtually perfect to me. I can't find any marks on it, but again you have to decide for yourself so I'm more than happy to fight you with more Photos given his age and rarity it is sold in as-is condition which I think is very unusual given its age!
I remember getting my first stereo system with a record player around this time and I went out and bought as many records as I could over the next decade or so, most of the time without even knowing much of anything about the group, I just wanted to start collecting records. I actually only played most of my records anywhere from one to three times and then put them away in my closets for the next 40 or 50 years or so. While many of my vinyls are in extremely good condition some are pretty near darn perfect if not better, as I only played all my albums that I opened just a few times at most.
The album covers are I think in good condition given their age, but not great because, for the most part, the album covers were just stacked on top of each other in a box so outside album covers got scuffed around a little bit while they protected the vinyl themselves. At that time, I lived in northern California, so while the weather wasn't ever really hot like Southern California can get, nor was it extremely cold generally in about the 60 to 65° range so all my records remained in very good condition as if they were in a climate-controlled condition. As you can see the vinyl is in very good condition. I bought my albums new around the date they were all first released.
I have no experience in grading records, I am not a professional grader, just someone who likes to take care of items I bought and have to keep them in a nice condition as I can. Beyond that you have to decide its condition for yourself, if you need any further information or photos let me know and I'll be happy to get them to you. Since the record is not brand new it is being sold as is.
