If you are not familiar with that concept:
Active speakers (or powered speakers) are a complete audio system in a single unit, featuring a built-in amplifier and electronic components that eliminate the need for a separate amplifier. They require AC power, but this creates a compact, convenient setup where you can connect an audio source directly.
Like new: they were only used for the bedroom TV. No abuse.
