Back Bay Montessori is looking for an Assistant Teacher for our preschool classroom, catering to children ages 2- 4.5-years. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 ECE units and enjoy working with children. This position is perfect for a college student who is pursuing further studies in Early Childhood Education.
Responsibilities
Create an environment that is attractive, clean, and safe for children to learn, explore, and grow
Ensure the classroom is maintaining and exceeding all health and safety requirements and Title 22 regulations
Communicate appropriately with administrators, coworkers, parents, and children
Maintain a professional self-image and project the values of the organization at all times
Collaborate with the lead teacher to foster a positive learning environment
