Our Early Childhood Campus serves families of children ages 0-5 years old. We have a wonderful reputation in the community as a program that provides a strong academic foundation for our students, as well as a nurturing environment which in turn creates a life long love of learning in our children. We are currently seeking qualified infant and toddler teachers who are creative, energetic and loving to staff our infant center. Feeding, diapering and general care of infants 6wks to 24mos.
Supervise children while encouraging safe, appropriate and engaging play (all ages)
Plan and implement age appropriate small group art and craft, language, and small manipulative activities.
Maintain a warm and welcoming classroom area.
Maintain communication with lead teachers, director and families.
Maintain a clean environment
The infant care teacher position requires the following:
12 ECE Units Completed (This includes 3 units Child, Family, Community equivalent coursework, 3 units Child Development coursework, and 6 units ECE Curriculum) & 3 units in the care of infants
Pediatric and Adult CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Previous experience working with young children is required
Daily availability from 9:00-6:00 (schedules not to exceed 6-8 hours a day)
