We’re looking for help with decluttering, sorting, and packing up a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom home in preparation for a move. Everything needs to be packed by Saturday, so we’re looking for someone who can start ASAP and help create momentum. We are moving our personal belongings and furniture into a storage unit so we only want to take what we need.
The most important part of this project is decluttering and decision-making. We need someone who is comfortable helping go through items (clothes, household goods, etc.) and assist in deciding what to keep, donate, or discard. This is not just packing—it’s about reducing clutter and being intentional about what we want to keep.
Once items are sorted, you’ll help pack everything into boxes in an organized and clearly labeled way so it’s easy to unpack later.
Scope of work includes:
Decluttering closets, drawers, bathrooms, kitchen, and general household areas
Creating keep / donate / trash piles
Helping keep the process efficient and moving
Packing and labeling boxes clearly
Expected hours needed: 30-40 hours for the week
Ideal person:
Experienced with decluttering or organizing
Efficient, trustworthy, and detail-oriented
Comfortable helping with decision-making (not just passive packing)
Positive attitude and easy to work with
