The Good:
Complete S52 engine rebuild. (ALL seals, piston rings, gaskets, redressed oil pump, new water pump, timing chains, guides, new Dr. Vanos, etc.)
Transmission seals replaced and detents replaced (if you know, you know)
New OEM Sachs Clutch with dual mass flywheel @ time of rebuild.
Many parts have been replaced over the years including the heater core.
Cold A/C
Solid chassis with KW V1 Coilovers. Car is entirely stock otherwise.
The Bad:
Hood paint is faded, and driver’s side front fender is starting to fade.
Convertible top doesn't work and has a small tear on the rear faded window, but comes down manually with no problem.
Driver seat is torn. Last owner did a glove box delete.
Will need new tires and rear brake pads soon.
Air bag light is on for driver seat belt buckle (typical e36)
It’s a 26 year old car with ORIGINAL paint, so expect cosmetic imperfections
This has been my fun weekend car, but I'm looking to downsize and move on. If you’re looking for a mechanically sorted E36 M3 that just needs some cosmetic love, this is it.
