Hello fellow Corvair lovers, I have up for sale or trade my 68 Corvair Monza Coupe. It is a project car, but close to being back on the road. I was in the process of rebuilding the 110hp motor, it has all the parts needed, it just needs the finishing touches. I also have the original 4 speed manual, and it looks like the gears and synchros are in good shape.
As you can tell from the photos, I spent a lot of time into even the smallest details. The body is straight with minimal rust on the driver-side floorboard, other than that its little surface rust here and there. I have all of the original and tons of spare parts that come with the car. I will even throw in the front disk brake conversion brackets. Interior is surprisingly in good shape, will need carpet and seats recovered, but all in all its really nice.
Only thing I am willing to trade for at this point is a S10 blazer, or a Jeep Wrangler, or something 4x4.
Car hasn't been registered since 1979, and the last owner passed away, best I can do is give a bill of sale. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. Thanks to Covid, I am forced to move, and doesn't like like I can take her with me. If purchased at full price, I will be willing to tow it up to 35 miles.
