1969 Barracuda Coupe 4 Speed
Seldom seen, hardtop “notchback” body style. Solid car no bondo…
Garage kept California car - no rust- it’s a driver- not a show car- Less than 1200 miles on a performance built 360 with special attention paid to drive ability. It is smooth driving around town and also freeway friendly… Optionally, the car can be aggressive off the line and fast tracking in the corners. It idles nice and accelerates smoothly., no stalling or lunging. The motor sounds great and is often mistaken for a big block. It has a straight body that was painted one time, 25 years ago, and now has scratches, swirls and scuffs throughout. It’s a good grocery getter, cruiser, and is perfect for rumbling into classic car events. Turns heads everywhere. The seats, carpet, door panels, headliner and dash pad were all replaced or reupholstered back to stock specifications. Mopar Rally wheels 15” in the rear and 14” in the front, with BF Goodrich radial TA’s 235/60/15 and 205/70/14, nice posture, no rear sagging. The small block 360 was built as follows. Mild Comp Cam 268 with solid lifters…Flat top piston …9 and 3/4 compression…Motor 30 over on the pistons with a 10 10 crank …Double roller timing chain…Roller tip rocker arms…High volume oil pump…Doug’s Headers…MSD 6 AL box with a centrifugal distributor…Stock Intake manifold from a 340 with era/date correct casting numbers. Edelbrock 650 carb….Heads - are Indy Max high flow cast iron heads with magnum combustion…Head design - heads are stock looking - out of production and highly desirable…Four speed manual transmission…Factory sure grip 8 3/4 rear end with 3.23 gearing…Custom 2 1/2 inch exhaust pipe…Flow master pre chamber exhaust…New Steering box…Cal trac - Calvert Racing bolt on traction system…Bolt in Frame tie - mid chassis…Manual Brakes. Original hood scoops mounted on an original, factory drilled hood. All dash electrical works including dash lights and gauges. Original seatbelts. Factory radio is untested, because the speaker is not functional. With no rust issues the car is a suitable candidate for cosmetic restoration or just drive it. Not interested in trading. If the listing is up it’s still for sale. No crypto. No help needed selling.
