If you want an original old GM half ton piece of history be prepared to answer questions and hear "thumbs up" stories. This is the kind of truck that will always have value as a fun driver or use as an Advertisement for a business or both needs to be repainted. No bondo
Never been restored The glass is good, windows still crank new windshield. The cruising speed is only about 55 MPH. Good clutch and transmission, it has 3 forward speeds column shift. Original heater 12 volt so all lights are bright. Just installed power steering and new gas tank
The original seat may have been recovered as original..
Clear clean title. I am 83 and I have some health issues only reason for selling.
I bought this from original owner and redid the brakes and put on a new set of radial tires, battery, points, and water pump.
I don't think I ever saw a barn find as straight as this one. When I first bought it I was thinking I would put in an automatic trans and independent front end but then I found out the existing factory set up works and it might be better to leave it factory. That plus my age and health issues I decided I should let it go.
This is not for everybody or for a flipper. You have to be someone who wants a classic Vintage GMC pick up.. The old car buyer guide says 54 thousand is the value My $31,500. Might be a bargain. Don't call if you don't have the cash to spend on a Vintage ride. I am retired and I'm usually around, feel free to call between 9 AM and 6 PM.
I can help arrange shipping if you are not in California. Cash or wire transfer works best, if you see the ad it means it is still available. Scammers don't waste your time or mine. Vehicle does not leave until funds have been cleared. I am having difficulty with posting photo's. If you text me I can send any pictures you might like to your phone.. Thanks for looking. Tom, Retired in sunny Orange California
