1998 Black Chevy Corvette convertible, automatic transmission, 70K miles, and runs well. The car is in fair condition. It needs paint on the hood, and front fenders. The tires need replacing. The wheels are chrome wheels, and they are peeling. To make it look nice would either need to be re-chromed, or replaced. I use a key to open the car, don’t think the wireless remote works. Overall the interior is in good condition, but the driver’s seat needs to be recovered. Don’t think the seal where the rag top meets the windows is completely watertight. I thought it had leaked in the past, but the last few times it rained it seemed to be okay. Several years ago, the window on the rag top came loose, and I re-attached it with epoxy. Seems to hold good. Don’t know if the defroster on the ragtop window works, I did not plug it back in. The air conditioner blows, but the air is warm. We have service records. On the title, it says “Lemon Law Buyback.” My wife bought this car in 2001, and was not aware of that. She has owned the car ever since, and has had no major mechanical problems with it. The engine is in good running condition. The Kelley Blue Book lists this car in fair condition from $7611 - $10,749.
