Overview: Garage Find from 1994
Here is an absolutely beautiful and very rare 1965 Berry Mini T dune buggy that has been completely restored from front to back in 1994 engine in 2023. It is a true garage find has not been on the road since 1994 I had the 140 hp motor completely gone through and the videos are on YouTube. It has a full on-line documentation of the very high quality engine work done to spec no leaks thanks to modern seals. There are very few Dune Buggies of this quality and craftsmanship. This is one of the most fun little cars to drive and it handles as if it is on rails. Super crazy power from a 6 cylinder 140 HP Corvair. You cannot have more fun for this price and still have a classic piece of automotive history. These were built from Berry Plasti-Glass Works in Pismo Beach, CA. Henry Ford’s, “Tin Lizzy”, inspired it. It was a dune buggy that appealed not only to buggistas, but also hot rodders and classic car enthusiasts. It is also told the George Barris helped design this little dune buggy. He built a very similar buggy called the Barris “T” built from 1969 to 1971. It was also featured in “The Dune Buggy Handbook” which is the bible of dune buggies. This one very cool dune buggy needs nothing major and is ready to drive and enjoy!
