This one-owner 1998 Chevy S-10 LS utility pickup truck with only 143,000 original miles was purchased brand new by the City of Alamea in California. It remained in service until last month, when the city decided to replace it with a newer vehicle.
The truck was primarily driven around the facility buildings during its service life. It is in excellent condition with low mileage for its age.
The 2.2L 4-cylinder engine runs very well, and the transmission shifts smoothly. Everything is in good working condition. The tires are like new, and the A/C blows ice cold. All lights, including the overhead amber light, and the radio are in good working order. The seats and headliner are in excellent condition, and overall, the truck is in very good shape for being 28 years old.
There are some scratches inside the bed, which is normal for utility vehicles.
I have the clean, clear, one-owner title and smog certificate in hand.
Note: The exempt license plates will be removed upon sale and returned to the agency.
