Sadly, I'm selling my 1974 VW Thing due to a new car purchase and my loss is your gain. I Bought this on Ebay 8+ years ago, sight unseen, and it has been nothing but a pleasure to drive ever since. I was told these were the original miles when purchased (81,200), but who knows, but it has never not ran and does not leak a drop of oil. I only drive it on weekends to the beach or around town. Comes with fresh new tires, tune up/oil change, battery, custom painted rims and hub caps, new rear lights and a brand new top and bracket. Within the last year, I have put in over $5,000 in parts. This car does have dings, scratches and paint mishaps but only it adds to the daily driver charm. This VW turns heads wherever you go and will run forever if taken care of.
