Job Summary
Transit Air Cargo, a third party logistics company in Santa Ana, CA that specializes in trade show shipping is looking for a strong sales assistant / sales support candidate with experience in a large volume of transactions. The role supports the Account Executive’s requests for assistance for their book of business and new business.
Specifically…assist the Account Executives with…
• Create quotes for shipping
• Book sales from those quotes
• Contact customers by e-mail and phone for questions and to book future shipments
• Document all correspondence information in salesforce.com CRM and also bookings and quotes in a secondary internal CRM
• Handle customer issues as they arise
Skills we are looking for…
• CRM knowledge (preferably salesforce.com)
• Good math skills
• Microsoft office efficiency in e-mail, Excel, and Word
• Team player that can work independently
• Experience with transportation is helpful
• Fluency with English a must
Qualifications and Skills
Experience Required - 2+Years Sales Support or Customer Service
