Self Storage company seeks part time Assistant Manager for its Brea location. The preferred candidate will be self motivated, energetic, and have excellent phone and customer service skills, general computer skills, pay close attention to detail, and enjoy working with people!

Prior work experience in property management, retail or restaurant industry is preferred, but not required. Office, sales, communication, office technology and Customer Service skills are mandatory.

The Assistant Store Manager must be able to work weekends, Holidays and overtime. This position requires Sunday and Monday availability (18 hrs/week) with potential for additional hours if willing to commute to nearby sister stores. All candidates must pass a drug screen, financial and criminal background check.

The Assistant Store Manager's primary responsibilities are to ensure efficient operation of the site. This would include sales, customer service, custodial/minor maintenance functions, collections, safety/security inspections and perform other duties as assigned.

Major duties and responsibilities are as follows:
-Increase income and occupancy levels by effective use of marketing and promotions to rent storage space.
-Maintain sound financial controls and achieve income/sales budget by managing daily income, keep delinquencies within company standards, be accurate and diligent in company reporting, and assist in Auction preparation.
-Provide outstanding Customer Service and professional telephone skills, including assessing and resolving customer service issues and complaints.
-Visually inspect the property daily to ensure the facility and grounds are neat, clean and safe. Also, must facilitate light maintenance as needed and consistent with company policy.
-Show knowledge and ability to efficiently navigate computer operations and security systems.
-Effectively communicate issues, concerns and operational reporting to Management and site staff.
